Kane Constructions and arete Australia MVP Awards 2025

We are immensely proud to share that Custom Clad has recently been honoured with the Facade Award at Kane Constructions’ 2025 Victorian MVP Awards for our contribution to the Victorian Health Innovation Centre (VHIC) at Monash University’s Clayton campus.

About the Building: Victorian Health Innovation Centre (VHIC)

The VHIC is a modern, two-storey facility located in the Monash Technology Precinct. It sits alongside the Australian Synchrotron and Monash Biomedical Imaging centre, forming part of a cutting-edge research precinct. The building was designed to support high-impact medical research and clinical trials, reinforcing Monash University’s role at the forefront of health innovation in Victoria.

This flagship facility integrates research and clinical trial capacity with purpose-built laboratory and administrative spaces, supporting the translational ambitions of HeartLabs and broader health innovation initiatives

Our Facade Work on This Project

We fabricated, supplied and installed:

  • 3mm prefinished Mondoclad aluminium cladding at both the main entry and southern entry
  • 3mm Mondoclad feature hood that defines the building’s architectural face

Our focus was on precision, clean finishes, and staying true to the architect’s vision, all while delivering on time and on spec.

A Team Effort Worth Celebrating

This accolade underscores the craftsmanship and dedication of our team. We remain committed to delivering excellence with professionalism and attention to detail. Recognition like this inspires us to uphold, and exceed industry standards, without ever losing sight of the teamwork, humility, and purpose behind our efforts.

Thank you again to Kane Constructions and the wider project team for your trust and collaboration. We look forward to continuing to support meaningful projects that positively impact communities.
