2-14 Albert Road Reclad

2-14 Albert Road Reclad

April 1, 2025

In partnership with builder MERKON, we’re undertaking a significant recladding project covering over 700square metres of facade. The mission? Remove and replace outdated combustible cladding with 3mm Mondoclad aluminium sheets by HVG Facades—a compliant, durable, and non-combustible solution that meets today’s stringent safety standards.

But this project goes beyond materials. We’re committed to doing things the right way—from safety on site to environmental responsibility. As part of our process, all removed cladding is recycled responsibly, ensuring we minimise our environmental impact while upgrading the building’s exterior.

Accessing a facade of this scale and complexity requires more than just manpower—it requires technique. Our team employs a combination of rope access, swing stages, scissor lifts, and mast climbers. These advanced access methods don’t just look impressive—they’re the safest and most efficient way to deliver high-quality results when working at height.

We also installed the façade framing with ISG Frames, ensuring the new cladding is fixed to a strong, reliable base and built to stand the test of time As regulations tighten and awareness grows, projects like this stand as a testament to the industry’s shift towards safer, smarter, and more sustainable solutions.
