Chadstone's New Food Precinct is Open!

April 10, 2025

The newly completed Market Pavilion Fresh Food Precinct at Chadstone Shopping Centre adds over 26,500sqm of ground-floor retail space, now home to popular names like Koko Black, Hank’s Bagelry, VIC’s, Little Sister, and more. Officially opened to the public on 27 March 2025, the expansion delivers a modern, vibrant addition to the retail experience at Chadstone.

Our team was responsible for the cladding works across both the interior and exterior of the Market Pavilion, as well as Carpark C, which is scheduled for completion in the coming weeks. At the Southern Entry of the Pavilion, we installed more than 600sqm of curved aluminium panels in a medium bronze metallic finish. These panels were applied to the colonnade columns, canopies, planter boxes, soffits, and facias to bring a sleek, cohesive look to the entryway.

We also completed the installation of over 200sqm of similarly finished aluminium panels to the Woolworths canopy, specifically on the soffits and curved nosing panels. For the internal tenancies along the southern laneway, we supplied and installed over 650sqm of 9mm Genesis cladding in a graphite finish, contributing to the high-end interior fit-out.

Within the Fresh Food Hall, we cladded a total of 58 columns, including feature barrel vault columns, using aluminium in Black Ace and Shoji White finishes. Selected columns near Woolworths were further enhanced with Tasmanian oak timber battens for added warmth and visual interest. Most columns were fitted with 5mm custom stainless steel bump rails and skirting.

On level 5, we installed 3mm curved aluminium panels to the canopy of the rooftop terrace meeting pod, delivering a clean and modern finish.

In the coming weeks, we will complete the final stages of work, including the installation of more than 350sqm of 3mm aluminium panels across the soffits, facias, and canopies of the multicategory building and Carpark C. Additionally, over 200sqm of 5mm aluminium panels will be installed on the canopies, soffits, and facias of Carpark C to wrap up the project.
