SHAPE’s Annual Charity Soccer Match

SHAPE's Annual Charity Soccer Match

November 18, 2025

Back for Our Third Year

We are excited to return for our third consecutive Shape Charity Soccer Day, an annual event hosted by SHAPE Australia that brings together construction and trades for a great cause. After taking the championship title back-to-back for the past two years, our team arrived pumped, proud and determined to chase a third straight win.

About SHAPE Soccer Charity Day 2025

The Shape Charity Soccer Day continues to grow every year, raising funds and awareness for meaningful community initiatives. This year, the event supported four incredible charities: Djirra, Youth Projects, Lighthouse Foundation for Youth and Brotherhood of St Laurence. Seeing the positive impact and expanding scale of the event year after year is something we truly appreciate. Custom Clad is proud to stand as one of the main silver sponsors for this important cause.

Awesome People with Awesome Weather

After a week of constant rain, the clouds finally cleared and gifted us a perfect sunny Friday at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park. Nine of our boys represented Custom Clad this year, including familiar faces who played with us two years ago. The energy was high, the sportsmanship was strong and our team enjoyed an incredible day competing with all the participating teams from group stages right through to the grand finale.

Here’s Some Highlights of the Day

The day began with an acknowledgement of country, followed by a much-needed morning coffee, group photos and the start of the group stage matches. After almost four hours of play, we made it all the way to the grand finale at 2pm. A single goal decided the match, ending with a narrow 0–1 result that placed us as runners-up for the 2025 Soccer Day. While we hoped to secure the triple win, we are grateful for the journey and proud to walk away having reached the final once again.

Thanks Again to SHAPE for Organising

A big thank you to SHAPE Australia for hosting another meaningful and well-organised charity event, and to the four charities supported this year for the important work they carry out in our community. We wrapped up the day with great hospitality, cheers all around and plenty of beers on the table. It was the perfect way to close out the year and we are already looking forward to 2026.
