The Aspire project involved the design, supply and installation of advanced cladding systems for the development's distinctive architectural features. Custom Clad was responsible for the installation of ShapeShell-RC panels on fluted columns, as well as the application of 3mm solid aluminium cladding across various sections of the building.
The ShapeShell-RC panels were designed with a specific oxide colour and acid wash finish, selected to harmonize with the building's modern aesthetic. Due to the complexity of the project, modules were lifted through the canopy before roofing works commenced, with module sizes restricted by transportation dimensions.
Additionally, the project involved the installation of lightweight framing systems, including 90mm engineered frames, top-hats, and brackets, to ensure the structural integrity and seamless installation of the cladding. The cladding was powder-coated to match the specified sample, and all caulking was done in standard colors.
