Custom Clad supplied and installed over 4,500sqm of cladding across the three main buildings and carpark at Halcyon Village, an aged care facility in Brighton. The cladding panels, by CSP Architectural, were installed all around the exterior of the buildings to ensure a seamless and consistent finish. The project was completed in three stages, aligning with the phased construction of the buildings.

In Stage 1, we installed over 800sqm of 8mm Equitone Tectiva and 8mm Equitone Natura cladding, as well as 9mm James Hardie Exotec panels for the roof plant on Level 3. Additionally, more than 500sqm of soffit cladding and bulkhead were installed using 9mm Exotec panels, supported by 90mm Bluescope lightweight steel suspended frame.

Stage 2, which involved the largest building in the village, saw the installation of over 1,700sqm of Equitone Tectiva and Natura cladding around the exterior, along with 250sqm of James Hardie Exotec soffit cladding insulation and bulkhead.

In Stage 3, we continued to install over 850sqm of Equitone Tectiva and Natura around the building, along with 150sqm of James Hardie Exotec soffit cladding and bulkhead. We also completed the installation of over 450sqm of 8mm Equitone Natura cladding for the carpark soffit, once again using lightweight steel suspended frame and under slab rigid insulation.

Due to the site’s location in a dense suburban area with limited space for material storage, we coordinated frequent deliveries with our fleet of trucks to maintain a seamless flow of materials and progress throughout the project.
