The cladding project at 555 Collins Street involves the installation of vertical bronze-finished aluminum channels, made from 4mm solid extruded aluminum, powder-coated in Dulux Electro Fresh Gold, paired with horizontal aluminum bands at 400mm intervals, coated in Interpon Charcoal Pearl.

To further ensure the building’s safety and longevity, extensive fire treatment and waterproofing are applied to the South and West facades, including a Gal sheet smoke seal at slab level, covering 2,000m, and non-combustible caulking over 2,000m.

In addition, the metal cladding for the building’s columns featuring Rimex Quartz Bronze Satin. The cladding utilizes a hook-on system with butt joints for a seamless appearance, while an impact-resistant substrate is applied to a height of 3m above ground level for enhanced durability.
