Scope

The Melbourne Place Hotel project involved a comprehensive scope of work, encompassing the supply and installation of aluminium, stainless steel, brass wall cladding, ceiling panels, balustrade cladding, and mirrors. These finishes were applied across multiple areas, including the restaurant, lobby, bathrooms, suites, bar, and event spaces, enhancing the hotel's luxurious and contemporary aesthetic.

On Level 12, the Mid Air restaurant features an outdoor dining area where we supplied and installed 4mm aluminium perforated cladding for the ceiling.

A standout element of the project is the event space ceiling, which involved the installation of over 200sqm of 0.8mm thick super mirror panels. This complex installation was further enhanced with over 50lm of custom 3mm powder-coated aluminium, welded and rolled to align seamlessly with the ceiling's curved profile.

The bar area on the same level was highlighted with brass feature cladding, along with stainless steel cladding featuring concealed fixings, ensuring a sleek and polished look.

For the suites on Levels 13 and 14, we installed over 150sqm of stainless steel and brass cladding, creating a luxurious and cohesive interior design.

Extending across Levels 2 to 13, the elevator intersections were enhanced with the installation of 1.5mm coloured mirror ceiling panels, complemented by black stainless steel trims on the elevator doors, adding a refined and modern touch to the vertical circulation spaces.

Additionally, more than 50 custom-framed brass mirrors were supplied and installed across various suites and common-area bathrooms, further reinforcing the hotel's sophisticated and elegant aesthetic.
